Episode Transcript
[00:00:11] Speaker A: What's worthwhile considering what we consume, believe, say and do towards peace of mind, vitality of body, and joy of spirit.
[00:00:22] Speaker B: I'm Ramsey Zimmerman. Here's some more healthy living, motivation and discussion.
[00:00:30] Speaker C: Growth isn't just about information. It's about connection. And that's what we want to foster, especially in this field. When we're part of a community, we are able to gain encouragement on the days when motivation is low, my goal is to make it accessible in the way they receive it, but also.
Yeah. And as a way to be able to incorporate into their lifestyle without having to make too many adjustments.
[00:01:04] Speaker B: Hey there, it's Ramsay here. That was Jill Weishart. Jill is the founder of Treetop Fitness. We first met Jill on the what's Worthwhile podcast about a year ago when I visited with her and her then husband Chad at their place in Union, Washington. They're no longer together and Jill has now relocated to Olympia. Treetop Fitness is going strong and Jill has set expansion plans into motion. She's bringing more holistic mind, body and spirit content to Treetop Fitness, including my Better Before Burnout Foundations of Health program. In the coming weeks, I'll tell you more about upcoming live Better Before Burnout sessions online through Treetop Fitness. But today, let's catch up with Jill. She's been through a lot this past year and I've been amazed and glad to see how she's been rolling with the changes. I'm impressed with what she's trying to accomplish and excited to be a part of it. Let's see what you think.
[00:02:01] Speaker A: Hey, Jill, how you doing today?
[00:02:04] Speaker C: You know, Ramsey, I cannot complain. I'm doing pretty darn fabulous.
[00:02:09] Speaker A: I mean, you could complain if you wanted.
[00:02:11] Speaker C: I could. You're right.
I choose not to.
[00:02:16] Speaker A: That is good.
You know, it's been, I think it's been just over a year since I came out and visited at your place out in Union and we last spoke about Treetop Fitness.
But I guess a lot has, a lot has happened since then. Lots been going on. What, what's been, what's been happening for you and what, what have you learned over the last year?
[00:02:41] Speaker C: Well, gosh, you're not joking. It has been quite the transition in multiple, multiple areas of my life since we last spoke on, on the last episode. Yeah, it has been a, a very eventful year. So earlier this year, Chad and I decided to amicably separate and, and get a divorce and kind of transition to, to new life paths for, for each of us. And, and so as a result of that I have since taken the, the three dogs, Chad has the cats, and I, I brought the dogs into a home in the Olympia Tumwater area.
And, and so it's been, it's been a quite the roller coaster of events and emotions and feelings over the last couple months. But, yeah, some pretty big, monumental things have happened.
[00:03:44] Speaker A: Yeah, well, I imagine I don't want to make light of any of those things. I think you just did two of the.
What's traditionally recognized as, you know, most difficult and stressful things in your life. You just came out of a relationship and you moved.
So, I mean, that's a lot.
How are you doing? How is it going?
[00:04:13] Speaker C: Yeah, so I, I wanted to touch on something that you had just previously asked, and that is, you know, what have I, what have I learned from the past year? And I wanted to share some, some thoughts about that. And one of the biggest lessons that I've learned through this divorce process is that I've stayed true to trusting my own intuition.
Looking back, I, I've realized that there has always, always been a grounding inner voice guiding me throughout my life.
I, I, I, A sense of knowing that has often pointed me towards growth and purposes and authenticity. And, you know, like many people out there, there were times when I questioned that voice, you know, second guess myself or really prioritize other people's expectations over what I knew deep down was right for me.
But, you know, navigating such a profound life transition has, has ultimately force me to reconnect with this, this inner wisdom in a much, much deeper way.
And, you know, you're, you're right. Divorce and a move, a physical move, and, you know, all types of move has happened in my life. And indeed, two of the life, two of life's biggest transitions, because they don't just change your circumstances, they, they change your identity, you know, your routines, your, your sense of familiarity. And what I've learned is that you don't just get through profound change by trying to control everything.
You get through it by focusing on that next right step and then the step after that and the step after that.
And, you know, change can be so painful because it asks us to let go of who we were, but it also gives us an opportunity to and create space for who we're becoming.
And so I found that movement and community and aligned purpose help anchor me during these very uncertain seasons that I'm going through right now. So I always, instead of asking, why is this happening to me? I always strive to understand what it's teaching me, what is the ultimate thing, you know, and, and so, of course, with, with any transition, prioritizing the basics like, like my nutrition intake and making sure I get enough water and continuing to move my body even when I don't feel like it, with such overwhelming emotions and pain.
You know, exercise has been one of the most powerful tools for me to manage all of this and the healing process and. Yeah, yeah. So, of course, spending time with my three dogs is incredibly grounding for me. You know, animals have this beautiful way of bringing us to the present moment, and so it's been a big part of my healing journey.
[00:07:35] Speaker A: Well, thank you for, thank you for sharing all that. It's, you know, I think in a lot of cases, a lot of times we try to tell ourselves many of those things. Like we try to reassure or tell ourselves that it's all for a greater purpose or that we, you know, can get through that. And then during our experience, it is still really difficult to actually try to live those things out. And it sounds like exercise is one thing that you've been able to. That has been. Kept keeping you going. But, you know, on the day today when it's difficult, what are the things that you sort of move to or try to do to sort of keep things going for yourself?
[00:08:36] Speaker C: Yeah, just the.
I have a very regimented lifestyle, so that keeps me grounded through the day to day and, you know, making sure I am focusing on my nutrition and sleep and. Which is challenging during these times.
But yes, just maintaining. For me, it's not just the physical aspects and considerations of movement and fitness. It's, for me, it's. It's what I center in my life, you know, and so it's, it's very grounded in my emotional, mental and spiritual parts of me, you know, so tell
[00:09:18] Speaker A: me more about that. What, what are your priorities that you're centering yourself around?
[00:09:26] Speaker C: My. My priorities are to build. Build this mission and we'll talk more about what's coming.
But my time is. Is focused on birthing a new community to life.
And, and so right now it's kind of working behind the scenes. And of course, I work full time for the state, and so that keeps me busy, but prioritizing my, my physical health, my mental health, my emotional health and, and balancing all of the obligations and responsibilities that I have in my life right now.
But, but for me, it's. It's the accountability to myself at, at the end of the day. And so, yeah, that's.
[00:10:15] Speaker A: Well, tell me more, tell us more about this community that you're making Reference to the last time that we talked about Tree Top Fitness, you were providing in person and online, you know, fitness routines and exercises and you know, some, some meal prep and planning and stuff like that too. But sounds like you are moving towards, you know, even more community kind of aspects to it. Like how, how is Treetop Fitness kind of changing?
[00:10:55] Speaker C: Yeah, so we're actually going to be launching a comprehensive virtual community. So it's going to be virtual only since I'm in a rental property right now. I'm not able to train in person. But that's, that's kind of. Treetop Fitness is moving away from the one on one sessions and really focused on building a virtual community.
And we are expanding beyond personal, more traditional physical and personal training sessions. We're wanting it to be a community that is about mind, body and spirit. So we have providers that are going to offer different sessions and workshops and, and trainings in the mind, body and spirit realm. And so I guess I'll share now. One recent development is I have a close friend and now business partner of mine and we intend to launch a new. It's going to be a similar community but larger and we have a name for it already which I'll share. But until we're kind of at the point where we're ready for this larger launch of this business, we're going to be offering this community through Treetop Fitness. And so.
Yeah.
[00:12:26] Speaker A: And what are the aspects of community that it will be like when you talk about community? Like what, what do you mean by that and what, what do you imagine? What, what are you planning for?
[00:12:39] Speaker C: Oh gosh, we, you know, I actually, I have our mission statement up that I just wanted to take a second and read which speaks to what we want to create. So if I, if I may.
We are a virtual healing social community that shares wisdom and connects people ready to integrate their mind, body and spirit into one as it is meant to be.
We value self, love, accessibility, inclusivity, empowerment, transparency, authenticity and truth.
We curated or we will curate a sacred platform out of high frequency so that other heart centered individuals can have a safe space to grow their business and social opportunities in a way that is truly divinely aligned. We are supporting and catalyzing fellow mind, body and spirit leaders and time to remember who you have always been.
So we are building a community that is going to provide a very holistic approach to health and wellness and training from physical aspects, social, emotional, spiritual and it's, it's, it's coming from a very heart centered place. And so the Name that we have landed on is Soul Mystic Sol.
So it's a meaning Soul the sun as also soul as in our soul.
And so we are planning to launch that next year and but right now we're focusing on kind of our, our individual brand. So building this virtual community with Treetop Fitness, you know, getting a feel for the community and how we're operating because a lot of us have other jobs and it, it's a matter of putting all the pieces of the puzzle together. But ultimately the goal is to make these sessions and trainings accessible and affordable.
That is our main goal is to bring not just fitness, but we're expanding our, our vision. As I said, mind, body, spirit, bringing these classes into people's home where perhaps they feel a little more comfortable working out or doing yoga or QIG or Tai chi or meditation. And these are all types of sessions that we're going to have in our virtual community. So yeah, ultimately with the larger brand Soul mystic, we have so many ideas and a grand vision for this community and we want to build a very interactive website for community members and, and so definitely more to come on that. But for now, like I said, we're, we're doing a launch of the Treetop Fitness online virtual community and we're going to be launching next month in July.
And so we have a whole plan on marketing and advertising and getting the word out there. But angel and I are kind of in the thick of the planning process and the.
[00:16:10] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:16:11] Speaker C: Warming, forming and normal.
Yeah.
[00:16:15] Speaker A: Do you feel like that is really kind of missing in many people's lives?
The, the different aspects that you're talking about and also just, you know, the ability to access, I don't know, are they lessons, are they time, are they, you know, set aside, you know, hours of the day to sort of focus on these things. Like is this something that you feel like people are generally kind of missing in their lives?
[00:16:52] Speaker C: Definitely, definitely. In general, I would say most people are missing a lot of this from their lives, but also the accessibility.
There's so many different competing variables in a person's day. You know, with jobs and kiddos and houses and pets and part time jobs and lots of, lots of responsibilities. Aging parents, you know, it's, it's a lot. And so having the time to dedicate to going to the gym, for example, is a lot. And so we envision these sessions and these trainings to be more accessible to people. Or maybe there's not a gym or a, another community center that offers more spiritual type sessions and, and another mind Body, spirit, you know, offerings, you don't, you don't see them too, too often. So we want to make it more accessible for, for folks in their, in their journey and their health and wellness journey in the. The broadest context, you know, in a very way.
[00:18:05] Speaker B: Look, we all deal with stress. Stress is not the problem. The problem is that our body's innate stress response is built for physical challenges instead of the mostly mental, emotional and virtual stresses that we face today. In my book, Stress Response, you'll learn to manage your response to stress in order to reduce anxiety, avoid burnout, and find calm and steady focus. The ebook is available on Amazon and only 99 cents for a limited time. After you download, please don't forget to leave an honest review and rating so that others will find it too.
[00:18:42] Speaker A: Well. I agree.
I get the sense that.
Well, first of all, I've been doing a lot of thinking about mind, body and spirit over the last couple of years, and a big part of my journey into holistic health kind of started with the realization that you really can't divide or peel apart or look individually at mind, body and spirit one at a time and be very effective at that because, you know, you really sort of have to work on all three at the same time. And the other thing, you know, the flip side, the good news about that is that as you work on any of the three, you know, it tends to have positive impacts on the others.
So that's one thing. And then the other thing I've been really integrating things like that I've been learning about in terms of nutrition and lifestyle and exercise and, you know, sleep and even maintaining things like steady blood sugar.
Really looking at all of that from the lens of getting better before burnout, you know, before it sets in, it's a, you know, we're all just going after it in our own different ways, but it seems like we're all doing it hard and heavy and fast and trying to do things, whether we're talking specifically or exclusively about work or whether it's about accomplishing all these other things.
And we really just need to get our foundations right in order to be able to pursue all of the things that we're going to be doing. So, you know, you and I have talked about potentially bringing some of my better before burnout.
Yes, Content over to Treetop and eventually Soul Mystic. So, you know, is that, does that resonate with you? Is that something that you think that, you know, the folks that you've been working with in terms of training and workouts, you know, they might benefit from, you know, some of those ideas.
[00:21:07] Speaker C: Oh, gosh, yes. I, I think a class like you're better before burnout fits beautifully into our, our holistic mind, body, spirit.
Yeah, true wellness is so much more than exercise alone. And so many people think health starts and ends in the gym. But if you're not sleeping well, if your nutrition is inconsistent, as you talked about, your blood sugar is on a roller coaster.
It's difficult to feel your best no matter how much you work out. And so we recognize the mind, body, spirit are deeply, deeply interconnected. You know, the, the body needs nourishment and movement and rest, and our mind needs resilience and, and focus and healthy stress management tools.
And, you know, our spirit thrives when we feel grounded and aligned. And so what I love about the concept of your, Your course that you're going to offer for both communities is that addresses the foundational habits. You spoke to, found building that foundation. It. It addresses foundational habits that support kind of all, all three my body, spirit. So in this, in our community, we're, we're going to focus on adding life to our years, not just years to our life. And so ultimately, classes like this are going to help people build that foundation. So we're really excited to have it as part of the initial launch and then mo.
The transition of the larger community.
[00:22:51] Speaker A: I like that little phrase, adding life to your years instead of just years to your life.
[00:22:57] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:22:58] Speaker A: Tell me more about that. What do you mean by that?
[00:23:01] Speaker C: Well, I cannot take credit. I listen to podcasts a lot during the day when I'm working, and I pick up on different concepts, actually, of which I learn about and relay in my social media content as a way to just spread knowledge and, you know, help. Help awaken folks and to different things. But, but that's something that I heard on a podcast recently, and that just kind of resonated with me. And so it's, it's been top of mind, which I was able to incorporate.
[00:23:30] Speaker A: Yeah, well, now we'll, we'll just keep it flowing because somebody else will hear about it on this podcast and then they can say it out loud and.
[00:23:38] Speaker C: Exactly. Exactly. It's so true, though. It just so speaks to the foundation building. We. What's the point of adding years if you're not living? And to fully live, you have to be aligned. Mind, body, spirit. And there's not, to my knowledge, a lot of offerings, certainly not accessible to people that, that provide that holistic approach. You know?
[00:24:05] Speaker A: You know, if you wanted to get even more Holistic. Lately I've been adding relationships to that list of mind, body, spirit and relationships.
And I think that makes a lot of sense because our mind, body, spirit, you can think it's mostly about like, what's happening within ourselves. I mean, you can, you can talk about spirit being, you know, between and among people.
But looking at relationships really adds in that extra dimension of the fact that we're not doing it alone, we're not independent, and that we were never meant to do this on our own.
It gets back to that, you know, aspect of community.
[00:24:58] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:24:58] Speaker A: And just really being deliberate about interaction.
[00:25:02] Speaker B: So I wonder,
[00:25:05] Speaker A: what kinds of interactions and relationship building can you imagine through Treetop Fitness and eventually Soul Mystic?
[00:25:16] Speaker C: Yeah, just.
So the, the, the initial Treetop Fitness community, initially we're not going to offer a membership option right now just to get the launch going, but the goal is to build in more of an infrastructure for a community where there's an interactive website and we actually envision a really neat, like, almost like a social media platform where it's, it's all mind, body, spirit content. You know, where instructors can provide information and people can chat with one another, members can connect with one another, you know, and people build rapport in these sessions. If you know, our, one of our providers, his name is Kent, he's going to be teaching qigong. You know, if, if someone is participating in his weekly qigong session and they get to know each other and recognize and it builds a sense of community and, you know, growth isn't just about information, it's about connection. And that's what we want to foster, especially in this field. Right. Like, not everyone feels comfortable, you know, coming out of the woo woo closet, if you will. Right. Like, some of these topics want to provide to people that are curious and have a thirst for learning more and understanding. Maybe they've had thoughts that they just haven't been able to get out or, you know, we want to provide that community in a safe space to explore oneself and go, you know, dive deep internally as well as externally with external connections. But, you know, that's, that's kind of the focus when we're part of a community. We, we are able to gain encouragement on the days when motivation is low.
Right. And so it's a form of accountability when discipline and motivation kind of wavers. And so it's, yeah, it's a way that enables those, those conditions.
[00:27:24] Speaker A: I do think that doing things within community is a great way for both encouragement and accountability because we can encourage each other and we also know that, you know, if we say out loud and someone hears us that we're going to do something, and then we're encouraged, and then we're also encouraged to ask each other about it.
[00:27:50] Speaker B: So how was it?
[00:27:51] Speaker A: Did you do that thing that you were gonna. That you said you were gonna do? Yes.
Just having.
Just having the knowledge that someone's going to ask that question and you have to have an answer.
[00:28:02] Speaker C: Yes. And silly.
[00:28:03] Speaker A: But we humans are very motivated that way.
[00:28:06] Speaker C: It's so true. It's so true. And one of the things that I'm personally going to offer is, you know, a lot of my social media content and what I intend to teach is basically my life and my lifestyle that I'm bringing to people. And so excited to share basic, you know, basic ways to incorporate health and fitness into their life in a way that saves time. Ultimately, that is the goal. Right. With busy professionals and busy parents, my goal is to make it accessible in the way they receive it, but also.
Yeah. And as a way to be able to incorporate into their lifestyle without having to make too many adjustments.
That is the goal. And so something that I have lived by for a long time is what I call an accountability board, where every week I list out my workouts, I plan my workouts for the week, and I plan my meals.
And it keeps me accountable visually.
And yeah, that's the ultimate goal, is the accountability. So I want to bring that to this community and offer a place where people can in advance, they know that they're going to do their own accountability board. Right. Maybe they sit down with their family and they walk through it together. Like, what activities are they going to do throughout the week? What can they do together as a family, what can they do together as a couple? You know, kind of thing. And the same thing with meal planning, I think it's going to be a way for families to become even closer. Right. They plan the meals.
One thing that I offer on my social media are recipes. I do like treetop fitness inspired recipes. And so I make a lot of the recipes that I create, and I want to bring that to life, too. And so I plan to teach live meal prep sessions where the people that sign up will know in advance what recipe I'm going to prepare and folks can join me. And I, you know, I'm working out the details because it's kind of a new thing. But I ultimately want it to be a place of accountability where I'm there weekly for people in support.
You know, life happens. But ultimately I want to be there for People and be that source of accountability.
Right. And so be there to engage folks as their meal prepping in their own kitchen and engaging folks in different ways. So it all boils down to holding ourselves accountable and loving ourselves and prioritizing ourselves. So we want to create a community that enables that. Not only that, but recognizes people for, for the changes they make.
[00:30:53] Speaker A: Yeah, for sure.
Yeah, that sounds really fun.
But I have to say I can't, I can't just let go by the idea of a woo Woo closet.
Like. Okay, a woo woo closet.
I have to wonder if.
Can we take just a little peek
[00:31:15] Speaker B: in your woo woo closet?
[00:31:17] Speaker C: You absolutely can.
[00:31:20] Speaker A: So like, what, what if, if we
[00:31:22] Speaker B: crack that door open just a little bit? What, what, what's, what's interesting in there to look at?
[00:31:28] Speaker C: Well, I'll, I'll just, I'll kind of mention some of the, the kind of novel things that I personally plan to bring to the community and I'll, I'll share some highlights for some from some other instructors. But I plan to bring cannabis enhanced personal training sessions that are virtual.
[00:31:47] Speaker B: Right now we're smoking.
[00:31:49] Speaker C: Yes. Right. So if there's time we can touch more specifically on these. But yes, I want to offer virtual cannabis enhanced personal training sessions.
I want to do a meditating with weights resistance kind of program. I'm, I'm training in a program right now on incorporating. It's a, it's a novel program about incorporating practice the meditation and weight training practice. So more on that for sure. But that's something kind of new that I want to bring. That's not, that's definitely beyond the traditional course that you'd find in a, in a gym.
Angel and I are also about to launch a free series of sessions we're going to call Coffee Cannabis and Conversation where it's a virtual space that people can join and sip on coffee if they want or not, they can consume cannabis or not. And it'll be on a certain topic and it'll, we'll talk. So we're in the planning stages of that too, but we have all sorts of ideas for it from angel and I kind of talking and having those as the audience or bringing them in to share stories and their perspective and you know, with people all over the country, potentially all over the world. My little sister lives in Singapore, so we already have international, an international audience. Right. So it's, it'll be exciting to, to come together on a certain topic and explore that.
And then yeah, angel is going to do. Angel is a psychic shaman and so she has a tremendous, beautiful gifts and, and skills that she brings to the world. And so she's going to do things like meditation.
She wants to have shad work workshops, chakra workshops, divine protection workshops, group healing sessions. So a lot of fun things in addition to other, you know, other energy work type sessions, qigong, tai chi, and we're going to have yoga with sound healing as part of it. And so there's. Yeah, it's, we're, we're really excited to, to be able to offer a very diverse amount of sessions that, that are accessible.
[00:34:20] Speaker A: So if angel is a psychic shaman, I think that we're, we're beyond the woo woo closet at this point. Like that. There's probably a whole bungalow.
[00:34:32] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:34:33] Speaker A: Right there. So that, that will have to be a future episode.
[00:34:36] Speaker C: I think I will say angel is a bridge, a beautiful, beautiful bridge between the earthly and the spiritual realm. And so community is, is bridging. Yeah, bridging mind, body and spirit ultimately.
[00:34:54] Speaker A: But some of the. Before we make it all the way across that bridge.
Meditation with weights. Are we talking like meditating and lifting weights? I'm curious now, what, what does that look like?
[00:35:10] Speaker C: Yeah, so it's this program called iCOBOMB, which I c O B O M B which stand.
It is internal concentration, body mind building.
And so it's a, it's a, it's a program. It's a structured training kind of system that combines very slow strength training with controlled breathing and like a multi sensory imagination approach, meditative approach into one method.
And so it's a way that like instead of treating the physical aspects of training and meditation as two separate and distinct practices, this system integrates them so that you're really training the body and mind at the same time. And so yeah, I'm really excited.
Like I said, I'm studying it. I want to be able to offer it soon. But the concept is that it's, it's using super low weight and micro movements for repetition. And so yeah, that, that uses like I said, that controlled breath and, and like a meditative, multisensory, imagine imaginatory approach.
[00:36:34] Speaker A: You know, I have not heard of that before, but as soon as you say it, it makes perfect sense. It's like one of those things. Things.
[00:36:43] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:36:44] Speaker A: Something that I have heard you say a little bit before is the use of cannabis while working out, but I'd love to hear again sort of how do those two things fit together and why would they fit effectively together?
[00:37:00] Speaker C: Yeah, so you know, cannabis isn't a performance enhancer. In like the traditional sense.
And so a lot of people say that it enhances their experience of movement, you know, helps make people feel more present, more relaxed, more connected and in a lot of cases, as with me, you know, even more consistent with a fitness routine. And so, you know, of course the science is still developing, but the relationship between movement and exercise and the endocannabinoid system and the overall well being, it's like it's a, it's a pretty, pretty exciting area of research and a pretty exciting space to be in to bridge these two things into, into one, you know. And so of course there, there's always with anything a responsible way to do it in potential downside which will be incorporated into my training. And it's all about the, you know, the right going slow. But you know, just some of the benefits with cannabis and movement and exercise is like one is an enhanced enjoyment of the exercise itself.
You know, often people say that cannabis makes exercise feel more enjoyable which as, you know, if someone enjoys something they're going to be more consistent and adhere to something in a more successful way. So it helps increase the mind body connection.
You know, it really helps you feel more aware with your breath, with your posture, with your muscle contractions. And these are all considerations for, for weight training. You know, for me it's like it helps with a flow state and true exercise immersion.
And so it's like flow state often involves complete immersion and it's like when there's a reduced awareness of time and effortless concentration. So cannabis is a way that can enhance the sensory awareness.
But yeah, there's a lot of benefits to talk about it.
[00:39:26] Speaker A: So yeah, I'm, and I suppose the fact that all of these sessions are virtual means that each individual person is responsible for whatever environment they're in and whatever liberties they have to consume as opposed to whatever kinds of regulations exist for gathering places.
[00:39:49] Speaker C: Right. There's no selling or distributing.
It's creating a safe space virtually for people to consume their own product.
We would encourage in their home where they're not driving, operating a vehicle, you know, join the session and you know, not operate a vehicle kind of thing. But, but certainly, yeah, and it's, it's ultimately creating a space for people to comfortably do it if they, they choose to partake and, and want to explore that. So we don't know when we're going to offer those specifically. You know, we're, we' start with our coffee, cannabis and conversation sessions and yeah, see see when, when those will go live. But it's, it's a, it's a new thing. It's not regulated. You know, I've had many conversations with Washington State's Liquor and Cannabis Board and basically it's, it's, it's not, it's illegal, it's not considered public.
And people, you know, if they're doing it safely from their home, which again is what we're going to encourage for consuming during any of our sessions, whether it's a resistance training based session or, you know, one where you're joined from your kitchen table. Right. Sipping coffee and partaking in a conversation with people around the country.
Yeah, we want to create that safe environment for people that, that are interested. Yeah.
[00:41:22] Speaker A: So as of now, like when, as of now, as we're recording, what are you offering currently and like, how often is it a regular schedule and, you know, how and where do people learn all the details?
[00:41:39] Speaker C: So we're going to launch in July is the plan and we're building out our calendar now. But for example, I plan to have multiple pull resistance trainings during the week. And one thing that I'm really passionate about doing is making fitness, like I said, buildable in your day. And so I would like to offer 30 minute lunchtime sessions where we focus on one or two muscle groups where someone can, you know, especially if they're working from home or they have kids at home and they can just, you know, put the zoom call up somewhere, grab their weights. You know, of course, for the resistance training sessions, there's a modest investment for a couple sets of dumbbells and different things. But, you know, a modest investment, you can, you can have a fantastic workout for the whole month. Right. With, with some basic weights and it's all about the consistency. And so that's what I want to provide is helping busy professionals and busy parents build it into their workday.
And so we do have a website, treetopfitness.com and so we're working on everything right now. It's live, the website, but the caveat is it's under construction for a July launch. But folks will be able to sign up as a member and then be able to purchase sessions and attend virtually. And so we want to make things, you know, given that our instructors have busy lives too, we're going to figure things out, how scheduling makes the most sense for the people that are joining and the instructors. But you know, we're starting off with, I think there's going to be five of us, including yourself.
Most folks are offering one session a week. So we'll have like one Yoga, one yoga with sound healing per week and maybe like one meditation. We might have a breath, breath work person, you know, so we probably have one for now just to again, just kind of see and learn as we go and, and we're going to learn so much and.
[00:43:54] Speaker A: But yeah, well, I'm excited.
Over the next few weeks as things are coming together, I'll certainly be talking more on the podcast about when sessions will be and excited to bring Better before Burnout to Treetop Fitness and, you know, have an opportunity each week to reach people, talk to people. We hope to. We intend to make these sessions really interactive so that we can, you know, talk with each other about things and really address what's going on and talk about improvements.
And I'm just, I'm excited to, you know, go on this journey with you and see where it takes us.
[00:44:46] Speaker C: Oh, absolutely. Me too. And I so, so am humbled by the opportunity to do this not just once, but twice now with you, Ramsey,
[00:44:57] Speaker A: you've joined a small club of repeat visitors to what's worthwhile.
[00:45:03] Speaker C: Well, I will, I will just share. So one of my top favorite podcast is a guy named Alex Ferrari and he does next level soul podcasts. His returning guests, he, he calls them returning champions.
And so when he introduces them, he calls them. So it's, it's pretty sweet. So, yeah, thank you for, thank you
[00:45:28] Speaker A: for being a returning champion and great talking to you and we will be talking a lot more soon.
[00:45:35] Speaker C: Yes, thank you so much. Thanks for the collaboration, the support.
